About the book: This is a sci-fi fantasy novel with horror and romance elements sprinkled throughout. The novel explores aspects of friendship, determination, fate, and struggling against the odds. Our main characters are two young women confronted with a hazardous new world, new dangers, and new friends.

Summary: Emelia Harper and Melody Sutton are just finishing their final exams and are heading on a road trip before starting their new lives when disaster hits. People are beginning to act strangely, and with communication lines down, they are confronted with a grim new reality that is unfolding through blood and destruction. Is this some sort of bio-weapon, terrorist attack, or something otherworldly? Around every corner, there seems to be new horrors and challenges that test more than just their friendship. They may discover what they are truly capable of in this new world.
